The Adamjee name has been a highly prominent and highly reputed name amongst the business circles of the Indian subcontinent throughout the 20th century. In pre-independent India, the Adamjee empire stretched across British India – a vast subcontinent that spanned from the Afghan frontier to the Indo-Gangetic plains of Bengal and Burma, all the way to the borders of present-day Malaysia.
