The philanthropy and educational promotion activities of Sir Adamjee Haji Dawood are also being pursued with the same vigour by Mr. M. Hanif Adamjee.

ADAMJEE FOUNDATION:
Mr. M. Hanif Adamjee was the trustee of the Adamjee Foundation, a welfare trust of which the professed aim is to help the needy and the destitute. The Foundation grants scholarships to deserving students from primary classes right up to postgraduate levels. Millions of rupees are given in donation to different charities every year.
The Foundation established the Adamjee Science College and constructed the Adamjee Boarding which houses the Adamjee Auditorium. These were nationalised by the government.
In Adamjee Nagar, one of the most prestigious girls’ schools in Karachi was established by the Foundation. Nearby, construction of a degree college for women started and was functional from the mid-1990s.
The Retina Clinic was established at Spencer’s Eye Hospital, where eye patients get free treatment including surgery. The Foundation studies new projects on a regular basis and many are presently under consideration.
LITERARY AWARDS:
The Adamjee Foundation pioneered the patronage of letters in Pakistan by instituting the Adamjee Literary Prizes in English, Urdu and Gujrati. These prizes are awarded annually and carry handsome cash awards.
HANIF ADAMJEE CHARITABLE TRUST:
In 2007, the Hanif Adamjee Charitable Trust (HACT) was formed. HACT works toward its mission of promoting education, healthcare, and humanitarian support. Outlined below are the activities and initiatives undertaken by the HACT, highlighting its key contributions to scholarship programs, medical aid, and donations to organizations operating medical centres, educational institutions, and providing direct support to patients.
1.) Scholarship Programs:
HACT remains committed to empowering deserving students through scholarships that enable them to pursue higher education.
- Target Group: Students from underprivileged backgrounds, students with disabilities, and those demonstrating exceptional academic potential.
