The manufacturing division constitutes the original industrial fastener division which manufactures a wide range of high-quality industrial fasteners. In 1988 the company diversified its manufacturing facilities by installing a powder metallurgy division with the technical collaboration of Pennsylvania Pressed Metals Inc., U.S.A. (the first of its kind in Pakistan). This division manufactures ferrous and non-ferrous sintered self-lubricating bearings used in a variety of applications from electrical appliances to the automotive industry. The most recent development is the setting up of an aluminium blind rivet plant for indigenous manufacture (again for the first time in Pakistan) of aluminium fasteners.
The activities of the agency/trading division involve the import of a number of items including a wide range of tools, workshop equipment, generators and power plant equipment, forging plants, sheet metal presses, etc. for the local market. Sources include Finland, Germany, Italy, U.K., U.S.A. and China. In order to market these efficiently, Adamjee Engineering has a large distribution network nationwide to promote its products, which include a variety of fasteners produced from both alloy and non-alloy steel wire rods, brass wire, stainless steel wire and aluminum wire.
AEL manufacture over 700 different types and sizes of international quality standard fasteners. Its complete in-house manufacturing facilities and professional team enables it to manufacture custom made and specialized fasteners as per the specific requirement(s) of its customers.
AEL caters to the following sectors to (both domestic and international market): automotive industry and auto parts manufacturing, construction industry, home appliance industry, furniture manufacturing and general industrial purposes.
